Engineers jokes page

Things that engineers do when bored around the world, and other funny stuff.

The first stop has to be George Goble from Indiana. He is one of the few people on earth to have started a charcoal grill with liquid oxygen. His web page is here . It is nost entertainging, with several video and audio lnks.

Another good one is entitled 'Things the warning label said not to do.' These guys are insane! A can of starter fluid says don't throw in fire, so they did and videotaped the results. They have also built the world's first supersonic pneumanic spud cannon! The site is Here is the point of entry. Enjoy the mayhem!"

The most outrageous people that I have so far seen have to be at ZUG. These guys will do anything for a laugh. This includes filling pumpkins with all sorts of stuff from mayonaise to smashing pumpkins CD's and throwing them off an eight story building for fun, prank e mailing everyone from Microsoft to porno sites, and playing outrageous tricks on each other! They are at here . Be ware, they are psycho!

Speaking of starch accellerating devices, here is a site that has them for sale, Spudgun.com. The also have some fun video clips.

Here is another way to launch starch, using water and liquid nitrogen. Most entertaining. Now with Video!!! They also have made some breakthroughs with LEV's (light emitting vegetables). Here is a link to their site.

Here is some more fun, kitchen dragsters!! Powered by 90 cc's of propane in a 2 liter bottle. Here is a link to that site.

Here, some computer graphics experts from CGI do all sorts of mayhem, from carbon dioxide bombs to surgical tubing slingshots. They also have some interesting demonstrations with fresnal lenses. There web page is here I have never seen a fresnal lens taken to a can of spam. They have a bunch of links to other interesting pages too.

And last, but not least, for the personell who work in testing, here is a page dedicated to testing the durability of one of America's favorite food, the twinkie! They burn, irradiate, boil, and do all sorts of fun stuff to them. Here is a link to this most unusual site. Somewhere out there is similar site on Marshmallow bunnies! I must find it.
